Great Service and atmosphere still the same here. Although pizza quality seems to have gone down. Cheese just doesn't seem to have same aged taste and sauce just seems different too from what I remember years ago. Lastly, the conveyor belt cooking method is just dominos style and much prefer traditional flat oven method. Crust isn't crispy like it used to be and not sure if it's the dough or cooking method. Sad how as time passes things can change for the worse. Been going to Grottos for past 40 years here in PA and first in Dewy/Rehoboth Beach Delaware. Pizza was just the best back in early 1980s.

HORRIBLE DELIVERY EXPERIENCE. my friend ordered on may 31st at 6:30pm. she was having a HORRIBLE DAY and all she wanted was a delicious chicken parmesan sandwich. the delivery boy, a lanky white man, shows up at 8:30pm to the sight of her crying for unrelated reasons. he is on the phone while delivering, which is dangerously and potentially distracting. when she got her food, the chicken parmesan sandwich was cold wirh burnt buns and overall looked like a school lunch. the marinara sauce was freezing cold. she lives 15 minutes from the pizzeria, and could have spent less time going anywhere else. do not order from this pizzeria unless you are okay with late times, ugly cold food, and inadequate service. 0/5 stars, do not recommend .

Looking for a quick, early, dinner, we decided on this place due to the large menu online. Service was rather disorganized as we had to hunt for our own menus and utensils. Eventually the server came and wanted our drink order. We asked for some items listed on the blackboard only to be told that it was not up to date??? Menu did not match the online version either. Eventually we got things organized and orders in. Some of us ordered salads as our meals so they came out within minutes while we waited a long time before the pizza and pastas showed up. There was a huge difference between the small and medium pizza crust thicknesses which was a surprise. Overall the food taste was pleasant but certainly nothing extraordinary.

The food here is always good, but service has been very spotty! Tonight we had Alicia, who seemed to be training, and she was fabulous! Redeemed the whole place for us. The pizza was crispy and cheesy and delicious and the mild wing sauce was so good we wanted to sop it off the paper! A tiny bit sweet, but just right. Had a all around great meal!

Nice place, decor is full 90s mode. Pizza is really good, upside down style, not super heavy. Wings are just basic sauce and straight out of the fryer, nothing special but had a good crisp to them.
